It must be very difficult for bands to write hit singles (and albums) and stay together after many years. I had lost track of the group after their first 5 albums which was probably their heyday as many songs hit top 40 status in the US. I watched America perform on a PBS special and was happy to see the band (minus Pete) still together after nearly 50 years. These two albums "View from the Ground" and "Your Move" has many songs written by Russ Ballard, who wrote them for America and for their style of singing and playing. It reminds me the most of their first 5 albums and if you liked those first 5 albums you'll definitely like these two gems. "Make it to the Border" is a very uplifting and awesome song especially with the brass section. I am glad that I rediscovered America (thanks to the PBS special) and that I was able to buy this release which is digitally remastered and sounds great, even on the cheap pair of speakers I am listening to them on.
