The only issue with ordering shoes online is that you don't get the experience of trying them on before you get them. While its very convenient getting them this way, especially if you are in a rural area with not many options to try on shoes in person, it also leaves you with surprises.I had an earlier version of the shoe's series in my size (9.5US because I have wider feet) that fit perfectly. They had maybe a little extra wiggle room for the toe, but not so much that it felt like way too much space. The new ones I got were about the same as the older ones, but the difference is that there is way too much room in the toes now. Its not an excess of room where the front of the shoe is bending back towards my ankle, but it feels awkward in comparison to my old ones.I did send out for a size 9US and did find it was cramped space for the width of my feet, painful. So I sent back out for the 9.5US and just only use them casually, not for running or much activity.I typically love Saucony Kinvara's but when I won a gift card to a store that didn't have them, I gave the Nike Free RN's a try. They are natural and comfortable - somewhat minimalist as far as not a lot of unnecessary cushioning and pronation-correcting stuff that you don't need. So if you are used to that, ease into these by rotating them in gradually until you are used to them. I'm a high mileage runner (40-60 miles per week), mostly on roads but a good chunk on trails too, so I expect shoes to hold up. I put in over 600 miles on the last pair of Nike Free RN's, so I thought I would give them a go again, especially when I found them on sale for cheaper than my Kinvara's. My only gripe on the Nike Free's is their soul design leads to getting little rocks lodged in the bottom due to their flexible design. They are great shoes though and hold up well.I've been on the hunt for a plain, lightweight, shoe that does not have very knobby tread. I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas, even though I made him try them on when they got here to make sure they fit :) I got him a 1/2 size larger because I bought a pair of these (or extremely similar) for my brother last Christmas and he said they were a tad snug. They would have fit fine if I had ordered his regular size, but a little extra wiggle room never hurt anyone. He is an electrician and likes how they are lightweight and the tread is not very thick. He doesn't like the thick tread because of having to go up and down a ladder all day..... hefty tread makes this more of a hassle for him. So, after looking for the perfect pair of shoes, I found them!Shoe is light and very comfortable but after reading a previous customer review about the shoe running small I took there advice and odered 1 size larger than what I actually wear and they were right! I am a female and have very flat feet and find men's gym shoes more comfortable. In men I normally wear a size 8 or 8 1/2 depending on cut. For this shoe I ordered a 9 and it fit as if I bought my normal shoe size. So for as comfortable, light, and breathable as they are they do run small and compared to other Nike gym shoes I've worn.I backpacked across Europe for 40 days wearing ONLY these shoes and they barely show any wear at all! Seriously.. A little dirty, yes, but I took 500,000 steps and covered nearly 300 miles across 9 countries while wearing a 45 lbs backpack and these shoes held strong. I am genuinely amazed. From jogging in the pouring rain of Berlin, Germany to hiking the steep mountains of Switzerland, these shoes have seen it all and have no tears, stretching or damage to speak of. Definitely recommend these quality running shoes for any activity you may throw at them.Great shoes. I use Nike FS and Free shoes for work as I am on my feet all day. These are very comfortable for an 8-10 hour highly active day. Quite stable with the Fly Wires and I like the wide tongue design that gives it a tight secure tie without having the squeeze too hard. I use the Free Trainer 3.0 for my workouts so I cannot comment on the training aspect of these shoes. It feels like they might be a little warm during heavy exercise due to the slightly thicker uppers, but they do breath very well.Excellent shoe - was a tiny bit tight but fits like a glove and the heel support is much better than Under Armour. Usually order in a WIDE but was not available and needed them quick so ordered a half-size bigger. Two days later a friend recommended going directly to NIKE since they have excellent customer service and will exchange without any issues. Breaking them in easy over the last 3 weeks so far -- showing no sign of wear. This is my third pair of this shoe; there have been times where putting this shoe on makes my foot feel lighter than not wearing any shoes at all. Really comfortable, really durable (this is my third pair in a little under six years, worn almost every day) and fairly cheap. I know this shoe was made for running and it's perfect for that as well, but just as comfortable as a casual daily walking shoe.My second pair of Nike Free RN and I am as happy with this as with previous. They are super light and very comfortable, providing enough cushion and support to make the run a breeze. The first pair lasted a good couple of years before it started showing signs of wear and tear. Definitely recommended.Fits well. Great for running (as expected) but there's just the right amount of cushioning for other activities (i.e. lifting). Had it for a couple of years and it's still going strong (even on multiple sessions of outdoor running in inclement weather). A recommended pair of trainers for most (if not all) track and field sports. Not the best shoes, i liked the older model better, these skid on the ground and squeek a lot when walking. The laces are almost always coming undoneSeller and shipping times were too notchOnly ever had one pair of these wide enoughMy favourite pair of shoes. So comfortable. Especially after wearing them for hours at work. Would recommend everyone buys these!
