This is a great book on drumming technique, and it is good for beginners, so that they get exposed to and can start using efficient strokes right away. Famularo goes into the physical methods of making the strokes that he covers in minute detail.The Kindle version is a hash, though. The pictures are completely separated from the text that they're supposed to illustrate, and the content is therefore in nearly complete disorder. I would highly recommend buying the printed book, because this Kindle version is just a complete mess. Such a mess it is, that I did buy the printed book myself.
