Inferno was the third and final movie in the Tom Hanks as Professor Robert Langdon series based off of Dan Brown books. Like the previous two Hanks is sent on a treasure hunt across Europe to decipher old art and riddles to discover a plague a crazy rich billionaire created to try to kill off millions to save the Earth from overpopulation. I always liked the twist and turns to the movies and the interpretations Hanks comes up with to put the pieces of a puzzle together and save the day and this one was no exception. Hanks seemed perfect for the role. On the other hand the U.N.’s World Health Organization was after Hanks and had an armed unit and controlled the local police which is ridiculous. The U.N. has no such authority. They could’ve picked a better group like Interpol or something. Still that’s nitpicking and most people won’t even notice it.
